Options#

  • options. Each has a value and a label, and optionally an icon, a description and a group. Options with the same group sit under one heading.
  • Search. Typing filters the list by label.
  • Select all and Clear. A row at the top of the list shows how many are picked. Turn it off with selectAll={false}.
  • max. The most that can be picked. At the cap, the rest of the list is disabled and a note says why.
  • maxVisible. Chips shown before the rest fold into a "+N more" badge.
  • creatable. Typing a value that is not in the list offers to create it. onCreate receives the new option.
  • Keyboard. Backspace in an empty box removes the last chip. Each chip also has its own remove button.
  • States. Works controlled with value or uncontrolled with defaultValue, and takes disabled and aria-invalid.
